Frequently asked questions
What is free?
Using the tools: every warp style, Google Fonts, the preview, code export, scene mockups, the cut-out, a transparent PNG up to 1,600 px and a library of 10 designs, with no watermark. You need no account to start; the cut-out, and exports and share links after the first 20, ask for a free one, and with it there is no limit on them.
Why are cut-ready SVG and print-size PNG paid?
A cut-ready SVG, a PDF or a PNG big enough to print is the file you make a product from, and that is what the subscription funds; a PNG up to 1,600 px (5.3 in at 300 DPI) is enough for a screen or a small print. Before you pay, a free account makes 3 of those files, so you can check that one cuts or prints as previewed; there are no refunds, so test first. Until 9 October 2026 they were free, and accounts from before then have 10 trial files.
I only need a few files. Do I have to subscribe?
No. After the 3 trial files, a file pack adds 10 more for $3, paid once: cut-ready SVG and PDF, print-size PNG, WebP and JPG, designs of more than one line, in any tool and on any design. They never expire and are counted like the trial files; buy another pack when they are used. Plus is for making these files without counting, at $5 a month.
What do Plus and Pro add?
Plus makes the files you hand to a machine or a print shop: cut-ready SVG and PDF, PNG up to 4,096 px (300 DPI up to 13.6 in), WebP and JPG, designs of up to 3 lines, print presets, product mockups to download at 4,096 px, short links, a bigger design library, a font library and no ads. Pro is for people who sell what they make: PNG up to 16,384 px on a computer (phones and tablets stop lower) for posters, banners and gang sheets, up to 6 lines, batch personalisation, DXF for laser cutters and whole mockup sets in one ZIP.
What is a short link?
An address like warpimage.com/s/Ab12Cd34 for a text design, with a preview page and a picture in chats. It keeps working if your plan ends, until you delete it.
Will the paid plans get more?
Yes. This page lists only what works today; anything added later is included at the same price.
How does billing work?
Plus is $5 a month or $39 a year; Pro is $10 a month or $79 a year, in US dollars, through Stripe; tax is added where it applies and shown at checkout before you pay. Cancelling or moving down takes effect at the end of the paid period; moving up is immediate and prorated.
Are there refunds?
No: a plan starts immediately, and at checkout you agree to that and waive the withdrawal period. If you are charged twice or the service is down, write to us and we will fix it. See the refund policy.
Do I need an account?
Not to use the tools or export a PNG. A free account is what the trial files, the cut-out and exports past the first 20 ask for. To buy a plan you register with an email link or Google; every device you sign in on gets the plan.
Can I use the output commercially?
Yes. Google Fonts are open source and exports contain outlines only. Fonts you upload are your responsibility: use only fonts whose licence allows it.
Where are my files and fonts kept?
On your own device. Pictures, SVG files and fonts are never uploaded; a paid plan's font library remembers only each font's name and a fingerprint, so the list follows you to other devices.
Do I see ads?
On the free plan, a few on the home page, the guides and the style pages. Never on the Text, Image and SVG warper pages, the mockup and template pages, or while you are signed in. Plus and Pro never load the ad script. Subscriptions are the part of the funding we want to grow.
