Frequently asked questions

How do I use a template?

Open one, replace the sample words with yours in the text boxes, and download. Every template is a normal design in the text warper: the fonts, warps, colours and sizes are all yours to change.

Can I add my own picture or logo?

Not yet: a template is text only. Export the PNG and place it over your picture in the app you print from; a transparent PNG keeps its background clear.

Are templates free?

Opening and editing them is free, and so is a transparent PNG up to 1,600 px of a one-line design. A template with two or three lines exports as a Plus file, as do cut-ready SVG and PDF; a free account makes 3 such files to try.

Can I sell what I make with a template?

Yes. The fonts are open source and the exports contain outlines only. The templates themselves are layouts, not artwork we licence.
