Arc text, also called curved text, text on a curve, circle text or text in a semicircle, is a text effect in which the whole word bends along a circular arc, like a badge or a team crest; makers use it for badges, round logos, tumbler wraps and a name arched over a date. To make curved text online, type your text in the box above, keep the Arc style selected and drag the Bend slider until the shape reads at a glance. It is the same shape as Arc in Photoshop and Arc in Illustrator. Using the Arc style
Arc works best on short, bold words. Start around a Bend of 0.5 and adjust until the shape reads at thumbnail size. The Horizontal and Vertical distortion sliders add a perspective taper on top, the same way Photoshop's Warp Text dialog does.
This style maps to an SVG textPath, so the exported code keeps the text live and selectable.
